Although we have no record of Jesus Christ’s reading habits, clearly He had them.
He knew the Bible well enough to confound His critics. He read texts at home and in the synagogue, and was an expert at reading situations and people.
We also have to learn to read rooms, read the times and read books.
The constant output of preachers requires regular input, and reading can be our greatest asset.
Libraries have been described as clinics and gateways. They feed our souls and increase our opportunities.
