Preaching, by definition, is a proclamation. It is a gift of speech.

God is a speaking God and expects us to be His spokespeople.

When God called the prophets, He placed His words in their mouths (Isaiah 51:16). So, when they spoke, their words had transforming power (Jeremiah 1:4-10).

The same is true of preachers. When we speak we should speak the very words of God (1 Peter 4:10-11). An anointed preacher has the both the authority and the power to impact the generations (Isaiah 59:21).

Have you understood the weight of what you are called to do?

Do you have exemplary speech (1 Timothy 4:12)?

Do you chose your words carefully?
